Capdeco

Capdeco – French Elegance Through Three Generations of Craftsmanship
For over 60 years, Capdeco has elevated the art of the table by blending traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Based in Thiers, the historic heart of French cutlery, this family-run company embodies excellence and a passion passed down through generations.
Founded in 1963 by Camille Froment, the story began with subcontracting in the cutlery trade. In 2002, his son Philippe launched the Capdeco brand, focusing on the creation of high-end table cutlery. Today, Edouard Froment continues the family legacy with a modern and forward-thinking approach.
Each piece is handcrafted in the Thiers workshop, using meticulous techniques rooted in tradition. Designed for both fine dining professionals and discerning individuals, Capdeco favors durable, elegant materials such as wood and acrylic resin. The range combines style, comfort, and lasting quality. With attention to detail and
artisanal precision, every Capdeco piece becomes a unique expression of craftsmanship.
Now reaching far beyond its roots, Capdeco proudly exports its savoir-faire worldwide, staying true to its core values: authenticity, excellence, and a deep love for well-crafted objects.
