Description

The "Tsuchime", hammered finish pattern, gives an elegant, luxurious look to the Seki Magoroku Imayo knives. This series features a high-hardness blade finished with a three-step sharpening process that ensures a sharp edge with long-lasting cutting performance.

Made with pakkawood for a premium feel and excellent strength, the rounded shape of the handle provides a comfortable fit in your hand. The partial-tang designed, with the steel extending to the end of the handle, adds extra stability.

The blades of the Imayo knives are made of 1K6 steel (56 ±1 HRC), making it especially resistant to corrosion due to the high chromium content. The greater carbon content ensures a better edge holding ability.  

The Meat Cleaver is a robust knife that can be used for hard foods such as cutting off the bone of a whole chicken or chopping off the head and bones of fish. The blade thickness is 4mm.
